Easter

Sloppy Joe and I woke up to a great surprise Easter morning! Snow!! Sloppy didn't know what to think at first. He wouldn't go outside until he absolutely had to use to the bathroom. I found it to be rather entertaining. It snowed all morning. I would say we go a good 3 to 4 inches.

I had planned an Easter dinner for the people in Justin's squadron. With the weather being bad I didn't know if they all would come. I would say we had a good 25 people here at the house. We had all of the traditional foods. Everyone brought one dish to share. It really turned out to be a great dinner.

The only thing missing was my hubby. We are not quite half way through his deployment. On days like Sunday the ache on missing him seems to be unbearable. His birthday is coming up on Sunday, March 30 and he will be 27 years old. I sent him his package early to make sure that it got there in time. He called and he opened it with me on the phone. I think that he really enjoyed his gifts. He also already received his birthday gift from his mom and he was thrilled. He got three new video games which will keep him entertained while he isn't working. I love the man dearly and I miss him more each day. I think and dream of him constantly. I am so proud of the work he is doing. Keep it up! Here is a kiss from me and Sloppy!
