My parents came out to visit us in June. I was so excited to see them! It really was hard to believe that it had been 9 months since we left for the UK. My driving seemed to really impress them! (or scare them however you want to look at it!) We did a lot over the week. My poor dad was sick the entire time but was such a champ. He went everywhere with us and never once complained. My mom and I both got sick later and I cannot believe he did just stay at home.
Below are pictures of us at Dover castle. We got to go throw some WWII tunnels that were built inside the famous white cliffs. It was such a windy day and it was so much fun.
We spent a lot of time driving around and letting my parents get a feel for England. Justin was on a trip most of the time they were here so he didn't get to spend much time with them. We ate a lot of fish and chips and I think we all agree we hate peas! Anyways we went on the double-decker bus tour, the Thames River tour and we went through the Tower of London. We really had a great time and I hated to see them leave. Hopefully they will come back again next year.
