Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Callie and I drove down to El Paso for Easter since Justin is deployed. We had such a great weekend! Callie was so thrilled about the Easter bunny coming! That morning she woke up and the first thing she said was Happy Easter! It really was like Christmas morning for Callie. She had 4 Easter baskets to open. I guess that's what happens when your the only grandbaby. She wasn't thrilled about opening all of her stuff right away but once she woke up a little she was all about it!

She got her first American Girl doll! It looks so much like her it kind of creeps me out!

I asked for a pose and this is what I got!

Time to go hunt eggs! She couldn't wait

 

 

 

We may have gone a little overboard

After all of the festivities at my parents house we went to my Uncle Matt and Aunt Gina's house for lunch and another egg hunt.

One of the highlights of Callie's day was the confetti eggs. She was squealing with delight!

She wanted to do one to herself

After Matt and Gina's house we drove over to my Aunt Judy's house for another great meal and Easter celebration! Then Callie and I headed over to Aunt Jean's house for a quick visit before heading home. What a fun filled day!

On the way back to Albuquerque Callie kept saying I not tired mommy, I promise! Lol that didn't last long.

Easter also brought a very special announcement but more on that in the next post! We are really missing Justin! We were so sad not to have him here with us but we talked to him a lot over Skype.
